Privacy Policy

Prairie Physician Link (“we”, “us”) is operated by Axis Immigration Consultants Ltd. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

1. What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us:

• Contact details — name, email address, and phone number where provided.
• Professional information — specialty, training background, licensure status, location preferences, and anything else you tell us about your situation.
• Employer information — organization name, contact person, and the details of any opening you post.
• Technical information — standard web server logs and, where analytics are enabled, aggregate usage data. We do not use advertising trackers.

We do not collect health information about you as a patient, and we ask that you never send us patient information of any kind.

2. Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide guidance.
• To identify potential matches between physicians and healthcare employers.
• To publish job openings you submit to our job board.
• To maintain records of introductions we have made.

3. Consent and disclosure

We do not share your information with an employer, a physician, or anyone else without your explicit permission on each occasion. When we believe an introduction may fit, we ask you first, and describe exactly what we would share. You may decline, and declining has no effect on any other service.

We never sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for marketing.

Information you submit to the public job board (organization name, position details, and the contact email you provide) is published on this website and visible to anyone. Do not put personal information in a job posting that you would not want made public.

4. Immigration services are separate

Where you separately engage Axis Immigration Consultants Ltd. for immigration services, that engagement is governed by its own written agreement and its own confidentiality obligations. Using this website never creates such an engagement.

5. Where information is stored

Enquiries reach us by email and are stored in our email and client-relationship systems. Job board submissions are stored with our hosting and database providers. Some providers store data on servers outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and introduction records for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for our record-keeping obligations, and then delete them. You may ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• delete your information;
• withdraw consent for future contact.

Email info@prairiephysicianlink.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If web analytics are enabled, they are configured to measure aggregate traffic only. Your browser settings can block cookies without affecting the site’s function.

9. Security

We use reputable service providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls proportionate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure; please do not send us sensitive documents by unencrypted email unless we have agreed a method with you.
