Find the practice that actually fits
Free, confidential guidance and introductions for physicians across Canada — whether you are finishing residency, thinking about a change, or planning a move to Canada from abroad.
Four things we do well
We start with you, not with a vacancy list. That means the conversation is useful even when we don’t have a match — and we’ll tell you plainly when we don’t.
Start a Conversation →We start with your goals — practice style, community size, compensation model, family needs — not with a vacancy list. If we don’t know of a fit, we say so.
Plain-language help understanding provincial college requirements and practice-ready pathways, including for internationally trained physicians. We don’t replace the official bodies — we help you navigate them.
When we know of a clinic or community that genuinely fits, we connect you directly — and you take the conversation wherever you want it to go.
Schools, housing, spousal work, the honest realities of prairie winters — we’ve talked it all through, many times, with physicians and their families.
Physicians at every stage
Residents & new graduates
You have more leverage than you think, and the first position shapes the next decade. We help you compare practice models and communities before you commit — and flag the questions that are easy to forget to ask.
Practising physicians
Whether it is burnout, a call schedule that no longer works, or family circumstances, changing practice is a bigger decision than changing jobs. Every conversation is confidential; nothing reaches anyone without your say-so.
Internationally trained physicians
We help you understand how provincial college requirements and practice-ready pathways apply to your background, and which provinces your file actually fits. We don’t replace the colleges — we help you navigate them.
Locum physicians
Short-term coverage keeps communities open and gives you a real look at a place before committing. We know which communities treat locums well — and which don’t.
Physicians returning to Canada
Coming back after time abroad has its own wrinkles: registration reinstatement, recency of practice, and re-entering a system that has changed. We’ve walked through it before.
Physicians simply exploring
No plans, just curiosity about what is out there? That is a perfectly good reason to talk. There is no cost and no pipeline you are being funnelled into.
What working with us looks like
Reach out
A short note about who you are and what you’re looking for. We reply within about two business days.
Discovery call
A relaxed video or phone call to understand your goals, timeline, and what “a great fit” really means to you.
We introduce
When we see a genuine match, we refer you to each other and share the context both sides need.
You take it from there
Interviews, visits, contracts, and credentialing happen directly between you — with us reachable in the background.
We’re a connection and guidance service, not a staffing agency. We refer physicians and healthcare employers to each other; every hiring decision, agreement, and regulatory step remains between you and them.
What you can hold us to
These are not marketing lines — they are the rules we operate by, and you are welcome to hold us to every one of them.
Our guidance is free and unbiased. We’d rather tell you an opportunity isn’t right than talk you into it.
Exploring options shouldn’t put your current position at risk. Nothing is shared without your say-so.
Licensure, compensation, community realities — we tell you what we know, and we say so when we don’t.
No placement fees, no success fees, nothing recovered indirectly — from either side, ever.
We measure success in physicians still happy in their communities years later — not placements counted.
Asked often — answered honestly
Are you a recruitment agency?
Not in the traditional sense. Think of us as a connection and guidance service: we get to know physicians and healthcare employers, and when we see a genuine fit, we refer them to each other. Hiring decisions, contracts, credentialing, and licensing always remain directly between the physician and the employer.
Do physicians or employers pay anything for your help?
No — introductions and guidance are free for both sides, with no obligation at any stage. There are no placement fees, no success fees, and nothing recovered indirectly. Whether or not an introduction leads anywhere never changes what you pay us, which is nothing.
How can this be free? Who’s behind it?
Prairie Physician Link is operated by [Your Immigration Firm Name], an immigration consulting practice led by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC #XXXXXX). We offer the connection service free because it’s how we give back to the profession we serve — and, candidly, because some physicians who meet us here later choose our firm for their immigration work.
That choice is always yours: introductions are never conditional on hiring us for anything, immigration services are always under a separate written agreement with their own fees, and you’re free to use any licensed representative — or none at all.
I trained outside Canada — can you help me?
Yes. We regularly work with internationally trained physicians. We’ll help you understand how provincial college requirements and practice-ready assessment pathways apply to your background, and point you toward the provinces and programs where your qualifications are the strongest fit. We don’t replace the official bodies — we help you navigate them.
Which parts of Canada do you cover?
All of it — every province and territory. We know the Prairie provinces and Western Canada especially well, and we maintain relationships with clinics and communities coast to coast.
Let’s start with a conversation
